Margaret "Dee" Fish is a licensed speech-language pathologist with over 25 years experience working with children with a variety of communication needs. She is nationally recognized for her work with children with severe speech sound disorders, including childhood apraxia of speech, and is the author of the textbook,  Here's How to Treat Childhood Apraxia of Speech  published by Plural Publishing. Dee serves on the Professional Advisory Board of the Childhood Apraxia of Speech Association of North America (CASANA), and is a frequently invited speaker on the topic of Childhood Apraxia of Speech.

Dee is committed to working with children and their families to improve the quality of the child's relationships with familiy, friends, and the community by improving the child's communication skills. Care is taken to enhance not only the speech and language development of the children with whom she works, but to build the child's communicative confidence and raise self-esteem.

Parents and caregivers are welcome to participate in the treatment sessions when appropriate to increase the family's awareness of the goals and direction of the treatment, as well as to understand the techniques best suited to facilitate improvement for their children. Through increased awareness, children become better able to generalize skills practiced within the intervention sessions into other environments including home, school, and the community.

Because many children receive support from multiple professionals, time is taken to maintain contact with the children's other therapists and teachers. Coordination of treatment plans and sharing of ideas is an essential part of ensuring that the children receive a well-rounded program that meets all of their needs.
